Just a note to let all the subscribers know that I’m bringing the podcast novel to a premature end — but only temporarily. I simply cannot write, edit and record to a sufficient standard in one week episodes. I’ve tried but I simply cannot work that in with my schedule and I fear the quality of the writing will degrade and become rushed.

I had two choices: to end the podcast here, complete the novel and then release the entire thing one go, or to extend my podcasts to fortnightly or even three-weekly intervals. I was not happy with the latter so I’ve decided for now to leave the current three episodes as an introduction. I will then complete the writing aspect of the novel, record the entire thing and release in huge ejaculation of horror pleasure.

Also, this website is going to be greatly changed and simplified and will become just a vehicle for the podcast novel, all my other writing and musings will stop. I’m trying to take away all current distractions so that I can concentrate on making Rebirth as good as possible. So, expect to see some changes over the coming days and weeks. However, the feed will be exactly the same, and news and updates talking about he progress of the book will be added.

I will be putting out a short podcast talking more about my decision to complete the novel ahead of the recording just so that subscribers and listeners from other sources to here can I understand my decision.

See you in  a few months when the beast is done!

I’m sorry folks, but due to extraordinary circumstances, I’ve been unable to complete the recording of episode 3 for this week. However, worry not, it’s nearly ready and will posted on Monday 23rd of this month.

So, I’m two episodes in, with the third coming early next week and so far the feedback has mostly been positive, which has been great.

It’s been a challenge to write, edit and record each episode each week, so much so that for Book 2 I’ll probably write and record at least half the novel ahead of the launch so I have a bit of breathing space.

I estimate that there will be around 15-20 episodes of book 1 depending on where I end it as I have two potential endings, both of which will also make a good kick-start to the second one.

I’m currently looking for some more promo exchanges, so if you are interested then by all means drop me a message and we’ll hook something up.

Well, the hard-work, sweat, tears and the occasional blood letting has come to fruition. The nuggets of my muse have belched forth a work of shiny loveliness in the form of an audio podcast novel. Thats a digital recording of my voice for all you cave dwellers.

This is a first for me. I’ve been writing on and off for years but never published anything coherent. So, this time I set a goal, and that was to start a novel and podcast it by 1st of June. Well that time is here, and on time too! The first episode is ready!

I really hope that you, the listener/reader find value in it. I would like to urge you to get in touch with your feedback, idea’s on the story and your general thoughts on the project. This is a serialised novel and therefore is open to change, if you see a particular plot-line that you have an amazing idea for, or have a mind-blowing idea of a character that you feel would fit the story, send it over. I’m all up for collaboration.

Things are moving at a nice pace here at Barnes Towers. I’ve had a good few solid days working out the final parts of the plot, and developing some of the lesser scenes.  I’ll be recording the first episode this weekend, and will use the rest of he following week editing and playing with effects/stingers etc..
